Monte Nevado is committed to moving towards cleaner and more sustainable production. As part of this commitment, between 2018 and 2019 a project was carried out to install more efficient lighting equipment, thus achieving significant energy savings.
This project has involved an investment of €30,133.45, destined for the replacement of 218 luminaires, in all manufacturing, office and outdoor areas.
The estimated annual consumption with the old equipment was 54,785 kwh/year and with the new equipment installed, it will be reduced to 23,129 kwh/year, which represents a saving of 57.8%.
